PhD Programme in IIT, Delhi

Ph.D Programmes:

Applied Mechanics, Chemical, Biochemical and Biotechnology, Civil, Textile Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Management, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physic.

Duration: 4 years.

Fellowship: BE/ BTech/ PE candidates will be paid Rs. 16,000/-pm for first two years after two years Rs. 18,000/- pm will be paid.  M.Tech/ ME/ MBBS or equivalent candidates will be paid  Rs. 18,000/-pm for first two years after two years Rs. 20,000/- pm will be paid.

M.S. (Research) Fellow Time/ Part time:

Duration: 2 years for Full Time and 3 years for Part Time.

Stipend: Under the Research/ Assistantship Rs. 8,000/- pm will be paid for Full time candidates Rs. 3,000/- pm will be paid to the candidates, who will participate under Sponsor/ Consultancy Project.

Eligibility: Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics and Communication/ Statistics/ M.Sc., in Mathematics/ MCA with GATE eligibility.

University Grant Commission (UGC) has released notification for National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2012.

The candidates who will qualified through this NET in Junior Research Fellow Ship (JRF) will eligible to undertake the Research any in University throughout India.  A Stipend will also provided during research time and they can also do the duties of Assistant Professor.

The candidates who will qualify in the Lecture ship can do the job of Assistant Professor in any University/ College/ or any Educational Institutions and they can also eligible to do the Ph.D.

Eligibility: PG with 55% of marks.  The candidates who studying PG Final Year are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit: 28 years for Junior Research Fellows and there is no age limit for Lectureship candidates.
